Week 12-13: Independent Narrative Project

When I was thinking about the different topics that I could focus on. There were just too many of them. I researched ideas from other blogs and look for examples. I figured out that it has to be a story that has a little twist in it. I was thinking about nowadays problems that people are not aware of. For example, I was thinking about how people in rich countries are rebelling about the money while people in poor and undeveloped countries struggle to even get food. This is why my project is going to be focusing on rich people's blindness. 

Life is quite unfair because of where you are born. Are you born in rich family or poor family matters. It gives you the life status that you are living. It is hard to believe that you will get very good education if you are in poor family that lives far away from cities. On contrary, people who are born in rich families are not aware about this problem and some of them do not even care about this. I will start to explain my work from the first image until the last image and explain the changes in process:

 In the first image, I wanted to emphasize the common guy working and getting the salary and also being happy about it. Then as selfishly, he will walk through all the poor, starving and beggars. In this image, I wanted to show that rich people are usually ignoring the poor people. They have not thought about the situation why they are like that and just walk pass them without feeling sorry for them. And even if they have a lot of money, they won't give a single coin for the poor.

At first, the rich guy didn't have any color on him and when I went to tutorial. Someone gave me an idea of bringing the richness out of the rich by adding bright color and for poor people, the white, gray and dark colors are the best.

Another good idea or improvement from my friend was to make the phone more attractive and as a sale type. So it can emphasize the human greediness and selfishness. That they are just looking at the media commercials and getting hooked in to them.

In the end I asked some of my friends opinion about my work and how did they get the idea. They could easily tell that there is this guys who is very greedy and ignoring the poor people. Thinking of himself only. I am really happy to hear that they got understood the story.
